Keeping Brand Blocks Intact After a Reset

A reset map that sales teams can defend when shelves are rebuilt overnight.

Category resets rearrange more than facings. They reshuffle adjacency, height, and the visual weight of your branded block. Without a map, teams rediscover problems only after sell-out softens.

A useful reset map names the doors, the expected facing count, and the non-negotiable brand edges. It also notes where competitors tend to encroach on shared shelves in Thai modern trade.

Photograph the pre-reset state in a fixed order so post-reset comparison is honest. Approach, full block, and price rail close-ups are enough for most categories.

Give key-account managers a one-page negotiation card derived from the map. When a store team improvises during overnight rebuilds, that card is faster than opening a full deck.

Schedule a light check within days of the reset, not weeks later. Early corrections protect the fixture investment you already planned.
